Nope not at all. Scientists from UCF (University of Central Florida), USA has developed a new technology which will make Charging Smartphone just a few seconds affair!
Actually they have invented a new kind of flexible SuperCapacitors which has the capacity to make the process of charging smartphone faster. Not just faster but lightning fast with few seconds your mobile can be fully charged.
You can charge it for more than 30000 times without any degradation unlike normal smartphone batteries, whose performance degrade after a certain time.
You must have thought this thing many times, if there could be a way to charge your smartphone a bit faster.
Because sometimes it becomes really important. Lets say you have just 15 mins in your hand to leave for office, but there is only 8% of charge remaining on your Smartphone’s battery.
Now you need such kind of battery which can be charged much faster comparing to the traditional ones. But does there exists such kind power storage which could be recharged soo fast?
From now on I can say yes, there has a great solution. As I had already mentioned that a group of Scientists from UCF has created a new breed of SuperCapacitors.

These SuperCapacitors have been developed with a composition of millions of nanometer-thick wires coated with a special kind of shells of 2D materials, which are just few atoms thicker from the SuperCapacitors.
Now the main thing is it’s highly conductive core, which helps in faster transfer of electrons for charging and the shells of 2D material provides high density in respect of Energy & Power.
2D materials are great for Energy Storage Applications but after this invention it’s proven now.
From every aspect like, Cyclic Stability, Energy & Power Density these materials are excelling. If we consider the Cyclic Stability then it’s far more superior than normal Lithium-Ion battery.
