CNS: Central Nervous System of the Digital Content Publishing world!
Is hidden beneath these terminologies/ conceptualizations, Rehash, Reshape/ Repurpose & then finally Rebuild/ Recreate!
You may squeeze your eyebrows but this is how I think about the core of Digital Content Publishing.
Without these three actions depicted here, your Digital content will remain like an abandoned element floating in the middle of a turbulent sea. Just an analogy to give you a clear picture.
Because think once, without deep linking, credit sharing, re-hashing, re-purposing & re-building, how the content would even be flourish?
The Content in Digital Medium can only flow freely & reach to a wider audience through these practices/ ways, in the sea of Digital Publishing.
So more clearly speaking, these are the boats through which a piece of content sails. Otherwise, how will they even reach from one port/ island to another?
Your content is a material or good which needs a boat to sail in this digital ocean. When I read the post, love it then I decide to reshape it by adding more value to it from a unique angle.
It happens like, after reading a post when you love it, you decide to reshape it by adding more value to it from a unique angle. That’s how a content get re-hashed/ re-shaped/ re- purposed.
After dissecting the content from your own angle, you re-build it & publish it or more dramatically ship it for some other islands/ ports on your network.
In exchange of that you are giving a link of credit to the original source. So you have sent it to your channels, sailing through one of those channels it came to me.
That’s how the content flows.
You can consider it as a unique product or raw material which your country exports to its neighboring countries. Here the country is your digital medium/ blog & the material is your Content.
When its reaching to our port we are not only getting benefitted from the product but from the core of it we are producing our own variant and exporting it again to our channels.
In exchange of that, you are also getting benefited. In the Digital Content Publishing, people will get to know you from various channels by following the trail through deep linking.
So in this way, no one is stealing your idea. If your idea is intriguing then someone is trying to re-shape it by adding his/ her own point of view & presenting the world in a different way by crediting you as the source.
In this way no one is getting heart & information is also getting vivid channels to flow.
So in Digital sphere, the concept of 100% unique content is a bit shady. Someone can pick a news/ info first hand but from that person, the info travels the sea of Digital Content via these boats of Re-shaping, re-building etc.
That’s the core funda. Otherwise how it will reach to billions of people of the world if there is no connected ecosystem.
Now the question is suddenly why am I bringing this analogy to discuss this type of issue?
Yesterday my friend cum business partner asked me, hey have you seen the article you covered yesterday has also been covered by a leading Blog.
Then I asked him, why are you getting so excited? 100 of other blogs might also have covered that news, where is the problem on that? That’s how Ideas through content sails as I had already mentioned.
But he asked, isn’t a content need to be unique? It’s a very controversial thing that a content needs to be unique. Just try to pick a content idea which hasn’t cover by anybody in the world at any time.
If you are aware of the fact then you must be yelling at me that what the hell am I talking about? Is it possible to find such a topic which has not been covered ever by anybody? Tough right, except if it’s any latest news.
Yes; it’s really hard to find. So how can it be unique then? Uniqueness is in your thought, perception & in the angle to describe a certain subject matter! Ultimately these make a content unique.
Your ideas of how you re-shape, re-purpose & re-create a certain piece of info to present to your readers.
That’s why I initiated the discussion with these three terms & why these are the Central Nervous System of Digital Content Publishing?
