Good Story Tellers! Yes Story Tellers who can convert any dry & dull information into a compelling story.
Someone who always has a significant angle of presenting anything (any fact/ information), which keeps him out of the crowd!
Every time I hear that Tech-Blogging is getting over-crowded, it hurts. Because I believe that ample amount of scopes are still there in this ever-increasing world of Technology for Bloggers/ Writers.
But with the rise of thousands (even more) of copycats who claims themselves as Pro Tech-Bloggers, the entire ecosystem is getting noisy.
Without having a proper voice when a Blogger just add some more noise for making some profits that’s what contaminate the entire water.
That’s the main reason why a monotonous wave has captured the mind of all of us regarding Tech-Blogging.
It’s not that due to the emergence of so many Tech-Bloggers it’s happening. But it’s only happening due to the lack of quality content, good story & great angle.
But you can’t stop it, it’s bound to happen. When a particular vertical is increasing so rapidly, many people will try (ethically/ unethically) to make some profit out of it.
& when someone only tries to make profit without adding any value at all that creates a bad impression.
I am strictly against that. Just making money without returning back anything to the community is not right!
Most of the time we forgot one vital thing, who we are? We are Bloggers & we are here to help others by sharing our Knowledge & Information through our Writing.
Because one thing we should always remember that people love to read good stories & remembers them.
So as a Blogger our primary objective should be to present complex matters in a very easier way, just like a story.
As a Blogger, it should be your primary objective! I think in this brief discussion you have got an idea regarding why am I telling this?
Now I am going to elaborate it in a more detailed manner which will help you to understand why we need more good Story Tellers in Tech Blogging space?
#1. Technology is not everyone’s Cup of Tea! You have to understand it
If you start explaining an arcane technological concept to a totally non-technical person, will he ever be able to get it?
I have a doubt! That’s why I told this point in the very beginning that Technology is not everyone’s cup of Tea. There is nothing wrong in it.
Because everyone can’t be an expertise on all things right? So as a Blogger it’s our responsibility to make all the technological jargons simpler before presenting.
In this generation, we have become so much dependent on technology that it has become one inseparable part of our life.
So when a new technology comes in the market which will be really beneficial for the consumers, how will you make the common people understood?
That’s where the role of a Tech blogger comes into the picture. To present any arcane technology in such a simple & lucid way that a layman will also get the real essence of it.
& for this there is no alternative of a good story about the subject.
#2. Good story-teller s make the difference between signal vs noise through their approach
Our Blogosphere has become full of noise due to our cheap mentality. Because we all want easy money.
So instead of thinking about adding value to it, we start what thousands of others are already doing.
Because there is money. But what about the readers who are coming to your website by spending a portion of their valuable time.
If you can’t get yourself out from the noisy surroundings of yours, that’s totally your defeat as a Tech Blogger/ Blogger.
Because through this not only you are betraying yourself but your readers too. So as a blogger, segregating signal from noise is highly important.
At first try to understand what the readers want then according to that decide what you can offer them in a bit different & unique manner.
#3. For the sake of the community’s growth & reputation don’t be another average tech blogger
Blogging has become an ever-increasing phenomenon and tech blogging is one of the front-runner. It’s not a part-time hobby anymore. It has become a complete vertical/ domain.
From every aspect (audience engagement, business & ROI perspective) Blogging has redefined the power of this entire digital ecosystem. I know that when a trend is rapidly growing some dirt will come inside.
But as a responsible member of this Blogosphere, we by ourselves should never ever do/ encourage such things which will make this community less reputable. Right?
So quality of blogging is also very important. That’s why I am telling you why our tech blogging/ blogging community needs good story-teller s.
Because good stories will attract more readers, it will increase an engagement to manifold and at the end of the day return will also improve.
Hope you have understood why I am telling this & it’s up sides.
