You were so obsessed about your breakthrough Technology that you totally forgot whether your proposed Value Proposition will be really Valuable to the Consumers or Not!
Now? Now that fictional Value Proposition of yours has totally shattered in front of harsh reality. Because there is a significant gap between what we think & what the reality is. Right?
So if you are worried then don’t be because it was bound to happen. Only the matter was you couldn’t be able to see it due to the lack of good experience.
It’s not your fault, it happens because you are developing a new Technology which means it’s your brain child. So becoming a bit emotional & feeling attached with it is quite normal.
But that emotional quotient should never exceed such a level which will make you badly & madly obsessed with it. Obsession is good but there should always be a capping.
You will be obsessed but at the same time you also have to keep in mind that you are developing the Technology for some specific people.
Those specific people are your target audiences. Now if the Technology doesn’t solve their need which it intended for then who else will use your product.
Obviously you are not creating a technology for your own fancy, right? So? That’s where the term Value Proposition comes into the picture.
You have to think about it from the very beginning otherwise you will never be able to add any real value to your customers. It will just remain as one of your fancy things.
It’s not only your fault sometimes even some organisations also do this type of mistake. What! Yes, otherwise no product would ever failed in the market.
One of the foremost reason of failing a product in the market is its creator’s incapability of visualising & adding proper value proposition to it.
The reason behind this type of mishap is the lack of proper Market Research/ Survey, Demographic Analysis & SWOT Analysis of your own Concept.
Without these checks if you just jump on the bandwagon it will never help you. So never ever do this. Take time, do proper Research & Analysis, then delve into the actual development of the product.
Don’t bet on any fictional value proposition from your imagination. There should always be a proper Logic & Explanation from Practical Standpoint.
