First & Last mile connectivity, a transformed cab booking experience through IRCTC!
Recently this new facility has been unveiled by IRCTC jointly with OLA to make your travel experience smoother & hassle free! Now you must be thinking what this facility actually is & how is it going to transform your cab booking experience while travelling, right?
Now tell me one thing, have you ever thought, how would it be, if you could be able to book a cab in advance directly from your train ticket booking site/ app? Wouldn’t that be cool?
IRCTC’s latest initiative with OLA will fulfill this desire of yours, which has made the cab booking experience really seamless.
As per this initiative from now on while you are booking your train ticket from IRCTC Rail Connect App/ Website you don’t have to go to anywhere else to book a cab, you can book it from there itself.
IRCTC has tied up with OLA to give you this seamless cab booking experience to improve your connectivity with the station from/ to your source/ destination (Source -> Station -> Destination).
Initially it will be launched as a pilot project for 6 months where users will get all the options of OLA from IRCTC’s platform. Choosing from cab options (mini, micro, etc.) too much more.
But the only shortcoming will be, users will not get any offers or discounts like the original app.
Apart from this users will get all other regular features with an exclusive option to book a OLA 7 days prior of the journey.
Let’s say next week on Thursday you will reach in Bangalore at 8 pm in the evening, after that you wanna grab a cab to reach at your destination.
Now you can easily book that from IRCTC portal. If you wanna book it after reaching at the station that also you can do.
In most of the station you will either get an IRCTC counter or a self-service kiosk from OLA for your help.
So get a OLA Cab & reach at your destination without much headache.
