Long working hours, unhealthy food habits & not doing proper exercises are the main reasons for which our health deteriorates gradually. So, to stay fit what essential habits we need to acquire as a Techie?
Because sometimes what happens that due to not looking after these basic habits different types of diseases start arising.
I know you have your excuse ready & you will tell me that who has so much time of doing regular exercise, maintaining diet & bla bla bla.
If it’s your response to my urge or request then i must say, sorry guys i don’t believe this.
If you don’t look after your health then how will you be able to continue your job effectively for a long time that’s a matter of question?
It’s a very common habit of most of us except very few who takes fitness seriously beside their work.
Especially for those who are directly associated with technology vertical, they should be highly alert/ concerned about their health/ lifestyle issues.
Due to long working hours sitting in front of computer and many other not so good practices, different types of implications may come for your health.
So today in this article I will give you 10 such effective tips from a techie’s perspective by practicing which your Tech-Lifestyle can be more fulfilling!
So what are those 10 ways ?
#1. Don’t stick in your chair for a long time
Has anybody scolded or given any adhesive in your chair? Then why you be seated for a long time without moving.
It’s a really bad habit & when you do this for a long time it can bring some severe health issues. So after a frequent interval, stand up and have a walk around then come again & sit.
Make it a habit and within every few minutes or hours (lets say in every 1 hrs) move at least once.
#2. Does anybody asked you to stop talking with others
You have to complete the work in a given time frame or meet the deadline that doesn’t mean you will stop talking with others in office.
It’s a bad habit. Because between your work if you discuss/ talk a bit with your colleagues, it not only refreshes you but it also makes you more energetic.
Otherwise, after a certain time, a fatigue will engulf your desire of work. So, do your work but don’t forget to be normal due to the pressure of work.
#3. Don’t forget to rejuvenate yourself
Not only talking with your colleagues but there are many other ways too which can energize you if you spend some time with these.
Now the question is what are those things? At first tell me what you like most? Reading, Listening to music or anything else?
If you have the answer then in between of the work you can spend some time with it because it will not only help to decrease the stress level but it will also help you to stay focused.
Or you can also spend some time in social media to take your mind somewhere else for a moment.
#4. Learn to take responsibility, don’t dance with someone else s decision
Be self-confident about what task has been assigned to you or you are responsible for? If you are not confident enough about its execution then anybody can give you pressure.
When you will let others take the vital decisions for you, that may be in your own life or office, then After some time you will break due to tremendous pressure/ dissatisfaction.
So learn to take responsibilities first!
#5. Take a break & get some fresh air
Yes after a specific interval go out if possible to take a break & get some fresh air.
Because all day long if you be seated in front of your computer in your desk without moving an inch then it will affect your health badly.
So, have a break with a cup of tea, talk with your friends & get some fresh air to re-energise your brain cells.
#6. There is no evil resides in the Gym, so go there & enjoy
Going in Gym! Such a big headache right? You can waste so much of time on unnecessary/ unhealthy things but when the matter comes to get fit then you start thinking who has so much time.
Just throw out the evil thought from your mind & immediately join Gym or do free hand exercises by maintaining a schedule on a regular basis.
#7. Keep some books around your work desk
It’s a great way to stay refreshed! If you have a habit of reading books then keep any latest book (s) which you are currently reading at your desk.
Whenever you will get some time you can read it, not for long but a short reading session of 10 mins can be very powerful.
It not only makes you knowledgeable but it also helps you to stay calm & peaceful from inside.
#8. Staying long hours doesn’t mean anything good, so don’t do this
Unnecessarily staying for long hours in your office doesn’t mean anything, nor it ads any value to your company!
On the contrary, it may signify that you are not competent enough to complete your job on time.
It may create negative pressure on you if someday anybody tells you this. So don’t even let this kind of negative vive come to your end.
Maintain proper time on the daily basis!
#9. Keep light foods in your vicinity
Yes it’s a great way to stay healthy. Keep eating lighter foods after a certain interval.
#10. Blink guys blink, don’t stare at a stretch
Don’t stare to the computer screen for a long time without blinking ! Doctors also suggest that you should blink frequently when you are working with computer.
So if you make this 10 ways as a regular habit of yours then your Tech-Lifestyle can be more fulfilling!
